MOHAMED SALAH is embracing Liverpool’s brave new future post-Jurgen Klopp by revealing a stunning fresh look.

And it did not take long for the Premier League's chief wind-up merchant to give his verdict.

The Egyptian superstar has shaved off his trademark hair and trimmed his beard as he prepares for life under Arne Slot.

Salah, 31, has just completed his seventh season at Anfield since his arrival from Roma.

He fired 25 goals in all competitions for the Reds to help them finish third and qualify for the Champions League as well as lifting the Carabao Cup.

However, he and his team-mates are preparing for a whole new era on Merseyside after Klopp’s departure as manager.

The German bid an emotional farewell to Liverpool after the 2-0 win over Wolves on Sunday and will be replaced by Dutchman Slot.

Popular duo Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara are also leaving the club along with Klopp’s staff.

Now it seems that Salah is ready for the big change by undertaking a big one himself.

He unveiled his new look in a photo posted across his social media channels this morning.

Salah wore a matching beige shirt and shorts outfit - but it was his hair that got everybody talking.

The mirror selfie snap showed that the forward had shaved his hair and is now also sporting a considerably shorter beard than he had last weekend.

And he left little explanation for his decision to change up his style as he captioned the post with only a grinning face emoji.

But Neal Maupay could not resist the chance to respond - and did so with a superb tweet.

The striker, who spent last season on loan at Brentford from Everton, quipped: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Welcome to the slap head club brother."

But the cheeky comment did not go down all too well with some of Salah's most loyal supporters.

One replied: "Does Salah even know your name?"

Another hit back: "You’ve been trying to imitate a Premier League striker for the past five years."

A third added: "If there was a Ballon d’Or for being chronically online, you’d win it."

But a fourth commented: "He’s the biggest troll in the EPL and I love it for him."

Salah is now heading off for a summer break before he returns to Liverpool for the final year of his current £350,000-a-week contract.

But it seems that he is already looking forward to getting to work under Slot after only playing under Klopp so far at Anfield.

And after what turned out to be an underwhelming finish to the campaign, Salah took to X earlier in the week to make a promise to the club’s supporters.

He wrote: “We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season.

“Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell.”

Salah has scored 155 goals in the Premier League for Liverpool since signing for them in 2017.

That has secured him three Golden Boots, while he has also won a host of honours.

The star lifted the title in 2020, 12 months after securing Champions League glory.

Salah also has won League Cup medals and an FA Cup one.

He has also won the Fifa Club World Cup, Uefa Super Cup and Community Shield.
