The Prince of Wales took Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, to the show, alongside fellow royals Zara and Mike Tindall.

The US pop megastar, 34 - an old friend of William's - kicked off the London leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour on Friday, with American footballer boyfriend Travis Kelce also in attendance.

This morning, a selfie of the royals with Swift was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram account.

It comes after William was spotted in the crowd for England's drab 1-1 draw with Denmark in Germany on Thursday in Euro 2024.

Yesterday, wife Princess Kate posted a snap of her husband with their kids on a beach, adding "We all love you, Papa" to mark his birthday.

William previously shared the stage with Swift at Kensington Palace in 2013 to perform Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi for a charity event.

He later said he obeyed "like a puppy" the singer's request for him to join her.

He revealed in a 2021 interview:  "I can't believe I'm actually telling you this story - I turn up and Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift are at the event, which nearly knocked me off my feet.

"And then, I went inside, met everybody, a lot of handshaking to do those nights, a lot of chatting. I try and be charming and interactive.

"She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye and says: 'Come on, William - let's go and sing'."

He added that he was "cringing" just recalling the incident.

Earlier on Friday, the Buckingham Palace band performed a rendition of Swift's 2014 hit Shake It Off to mark her tour arriving in the city.

Among the other attendees at the concert were Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria.

The politician, who is currently ahead in the polls to take over as Prime Minister on July 4, posted on X: "'Swift' campaign pitstop."

Swift told the 89,000-strong crowd: "Oh my God, London, look what you've done. What better way to spend a Friday night than in the most exhilarating city in the world?"

Friday night's concert was the first of three sold-out dates at Wembley, with the international sensation returning in August to perform another five.
