GEORGE Clark tends to keep his personal life out of the limelight, but the star has had plenty of ups and downs.

This week fans watched as his Amazing Spaces returned to the schedule this week.

But he also fronts Old House, New House and previously The Restoration Man before its axe.

Off screen, George has three children - Georgie, 20, Emilio, 18 and Iona, who is 16.

He shares them with his first wife Catriona who he was married to for over 10 years before divorcing in 2013.

George married again to Katie Morgan in 2018 but the pair went their separate ways in 2022.

The architect lives in Notting Hill and is dating again, though he keeps his new girlfriend Florence Hvorostovsky out of the spotlight.

George has faced tragedy in his lifetime and has previously opened up on the death of his father.

His dad tragically died when he was just seven years old in a water skiing accident.

The shock ordeal left George 'struggling to cope'.

He told The Guardian: "I reached a crossroads after Dad died: I could either crumble and lose the plot, or find the best in an awful situation.

"The grief was horrific – I still carry it with me every day –but I accepted that everything happens for a reason. My dad only had 26 years on the planet, so I was going to make the most of every day."

George previously sparked health fears from concerned fans over a snap he posted on social media.

The star was on a ferry and shared the black and white photo to Instagram.

However, one fan replied:  "Looking tired mr Clarke, xx take a breather xx."

Another said at the time: "You’re looking a wee bit peaky, George. Sea sickness kicking in?"
