KATY Perry has turned heads by going near-nude in an extremely bold cutout dress to strut through the Vogue World Paris show on Sunday.

The daring look comes as Katy, 39, received a chorus of fan backlash over her upcoming comeback single, "A Woman's World."

Katy made a big splash at Vogue World: Paris, lighting up the entrance and runway at Place Vendôme like a Firework.

The pop superstar strutted through the Parisian plaza - drummers behind her- wearing an archival Noir Kei Ninomiya dress.

The dress consisted of geometric shapes and tulle floral embellishments on the skirt.

The garment, however, was hard to ignore as it showed off nearly all of Katy's skin.

Her bare breasts were on full display, as was her underwear line, as she opted for no undergarments.

Katy turned everyone's head as she walked around the plaza for the VIP guests in attendance.

Cara Delevingne also hosted a live stream, and other celebs in attendance included Venus and Serena Williams, Ciara, and FKA Twigs.

Katy initially walked through the Parisian square and then walked a runaway segment.

Her segment was part of the 1980s decade, paying homage to the martial arts.

This year's event was dedicated to the connection between fashion and sports, so the show was split into decades, starting with the 1920s.

Each decade paid tribute to a different sport and placed a spotlight on French designers and fashion houses.

The show featured both contemporary and historic French designers as well as traditional fashion houses.

There were also over 500 athletes, performers, surprise guests and models - all of whom looked stunned as Katy stepped out.

Vogue World was launched in 2022 and previously held in London and in New York City the year before.

The glamorous affair even included the reunion of legends Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell.

'STUNNING!'

Katy shared some snaps of the wild dress on Instagram, and fans flooded the comments section, blown away.

"It’s katy perry’s world and we’re lucky to be living in it," one fan wrote.

"If you see me recreating this look… no, you don’t!" wrote another.

"What if i asked to borrow this???" wrote a third.

"This is truly iconic, wrote a fourth. "Stunning."

NOT LOVING THE COMEBACK

Last week, the pop music icon began the rollout for her long-awaited KP6 album with the single "A Woman's World."

The album marks her first since 2020 and fans were hoping she'd "save pop."

The single's cover sees Katy looking gorgeous in a futuristic boots-and-bra number - the single comes out July 11.

Katy also shared a now-viral post of herself dancing to the track to get fans hyped up for the single.

She was seemingly in a clothing store, and in the background was a Legolas t-shirt (a role played by her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 47.)

In the clip, Katy showed off her figure in a skintight crop top, emblazoned with the words "FEMININE DIVINE."

Katy paired the tee with pants slung low on her hips, revealing her toned stomach and her pink panties.

The star flung herself in front of the camera as a quick song clip played until halfway through the chorus.

The music suddenly ended, with Katy sassily declaring, "That's all you get," as she shrugged and walked away.

"IT’S A WOMAN’S WORLD AND YOU’RE LUCKY TO BE LIVING IN IT," she captioned the video, quoting a line from the song.

However, the backlash ensued as fans looked into the song credits.

As Rolling Stone confirmed, Katy worked with producer Dr. Luke on the song and upcoming album.

Beginning in 2014, Luke was embroiled in a legal battle with Kesha, who accused the producer of “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally” abusing her during their professional relationship.

This led to a decades-long feud, during which Kesha was stuck in her music contract while warring in court with the Svengali producer.

It's well-known that Dr. Luke was the man behind Katy's chart-topping Teenage Dream album.

But fans were astounded they teamed up again, especially since her new era is about women's empowerment.

'EMPOWERMENT?'

"Female empowerment song produced by a man with a LONG history of using and abusing young women… lol," one X user posted upon the discovery.

"So let me get this straight: Katy has been teasing her comeback for almost a year and then decides to release a literal Ava Max reject aimed to empower women that is co-produced by Dr. Luke?" wrote another.

Even besides criticism of Katy's rumored workmate, other fans laid into the song itself and felt the snippet wasn't giving (though it did sound better than the leak).

"New Katy Perry snippet is the worst thing I’ve ever heard," another X user wrote.

"I was rooting for Katy but these lyrics are so dated it’s giving 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign material. It’s over," said one more.
