A thrifty YouTuber who spotted a pair of £100 trainers in a charity shop for just £8.50 has said you "can't go wrong".

CharlieVlogs, a travel vlogger often takes his audience on tours of the UK, shooting videos on everything from cheap cuisine to scammers. Most recently, he went for a quick charity shop trip around London to buy some new clothes.

One particularly striking bargain caught his eye in a Mind store in Kentish Town. A pair of Nike Air Jordan 1s were on sale for just £8.50 despite usually having a retail price of over £100.

Opting to leave the cut-price shoes in the shop, Charlie said: "Mmm, not bad. Air Jordans for £8.50. Not my size and also nothing else in there as well."

He continued: "But you see what I mean, guys. All of these charity shops... yeah, I'm not gonna buy them because they're not in my size or maybe just not my style.

"But if you don't like them, you know what I mean; everyone's got different tastes - £8.50 for Jordans; mate, you can't go wrong."

The "connoisseur" of charity shops previously asked viewers why he should buy "brand new garments" for "literally hundreds of pounds" when there are "better options" in charity shops.

Charlie visited a range of stores across London, including shops in Pimlico, Camden, Kentish Town, West Hampstead and Chiswick, which he dubbed the most "efficient charity shop route" in the capital.

Despite a "disappointing" start in Pimlico, Charlie started building "momentum" once he reached Camden, buying a T-shirt for £4.50, followed by a few other small purchases.

Charlie didn't leave the city without bagging a designer item, however. He he found a Kangol baseball hat in an Oxfam shop in Chiswick for £5, with a similar hat currently on sale on the Kangol website for $40 (roughly £31).

After a quick rendition of Skepta's Serious Thugz, "Head get mangled, then dangled to the side just like I wear my Kangol", he immediately said he's "getting that".

The YouTuber ended his video by saying: "Mate, told you. I told you guys I'm getting one last thing. I told you."
