THE Strictly probe into Giovanni Pernice is not expected to be concluded until next year.
Five people have given formal interviews to two former Met detectives leading the investigation, it is understood.

A source said last night: “Those involved have been told the probe could well drag on into next year.

They added: “Bosses are under enormous pressure to make sure the investigation is extremely thorough.
“Up to five people have presented evidence in statements and WhatsApp exchanges. Two members of production are also said to be willing to give evidence.
“Gio is likely to be quizzed last, once everything else is in order.
“He’s more than happy to speak to investigators and is determined to clear his name.”
