In April 2023, Lizzy Musi revealed on her YouTube channel that she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.
She said, "I got the phone call from the doctor, and I knew it was going to be more serious coming from him.
"They told me that it’s definitely cancer. It’s one of the fastest and most aggressive breast cancers that you can have.

She explained that the cancer had spread to her lymph node and liver.
In July 2023, Musi revealed that she broke up with Kye Kelley because she did not feel supported by him throughout her cancer treatment.
Sadly, on June 27, 2024, Musi's father announced that she passed away at the age of 33 after battling cancer for over a year.
"Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight," Musi's father and door slammer legend Pat Musi said in a statement on Facebook.
"Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle.
"At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grief and make arrangements in peace.
"We will give an update as soon as we have information to share."
