Who left Love Island last night?

On Friday June 28, 2024 another two islanders had to say goodbye in a brutal dumping.

Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore were dumped from the villa after the public was asked to vote for their favourite couples to be saved.

The couple along with Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh and Konnor Ewudzie and Grace Jackson were told they were at risk of being sent home.

An insider told The Sun: "It was really savage and nobody was happy at all.

"There were tears and some of the cast were furious."

The contestants were shocked when it was revealed that Ronnie and Harriet were dumped.

Viewers at home reacted to the dump on social media saying: "Harriet and Ronnie did not get less votes than Grace and Konnor that is not true."

Another one said: "How did Grace survive the dumping but not Harriet."

What did Ronnie and Harriet say about leaving Love Island?

Harriet said in an interview with ITV about her exit: "I feel sad to go. I felt that my experience in the Villa wasn’t over yet.

"Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, so if they think me and Ronnie should have gone, what can you do?"

She also said she "feels good about leaving with Ronnie".

Harriet continued: "I’d rather leave with him than any of the other boys.

"I’ve had the best experience with him and I’ve met the bestest friends, like Grace, Matilda, Joey and Sean.

"I’m going to miss them so much."

Her time in the villa was not the easiest for her after her fight with Ciaran Davies.

Talking about him, Harriet said: "He never actually apologised to me, but to be honest I don’t actually care.

"At the end of the day everyone has their opinions.

"I lived in that moment and all my friends there thought it was horrible the way he spoke to me.

"I’m out of the Villa now, I wish him all the best, no bad blood, but he could have given me an apology."

Ronnie said about the public voting him out: "There isn’t too much thought into that for me; people vote and that’s the name of the game isn’t it."

About his friendship with islander Joey he said: "Our friendship has grown every day, he’s like a brother to me now.

"I said, ‘Don’t, you’ll start me off!’ It was a tough one last night obviously with the boys.

"I take things like that in my stride. It was quite emotional in the end and my friendship with Joey means a lot. I’m going to miss the boy."

He did say that Joey and him will stay friends outside of the villa.

Ronnie also mentioned that he was "happy" to be dumped with Harriet.

About their relationship he said: "It was a bumpy start with all my triangles.

"But everything came full circle and I felt like that last week we’ve [Harriett and I] been really good.

"We had a lovely date and we’ve been getting to know each other more and spending more time together.

"At the end of the day I’ve gone there to find someone and I’ve come out with Harriett, wherever that goes, who knows.

"But it was really nice with her in there."

Both confirmed that they wanted to see each other outside of the show to see what could be between them.
