TRAVIS Kelce has said he can't wait for the NFL to establish a new franchise outside of the US.

The Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, said he could even see himself playing for that team, most likely to be based in London, UK.

"Let’s be honest, I’d never leave the Chiefs…" the NFL tight end wrote on X on Saturday.

"But playing in London sounds fun."

Kelce's post came after he and his brother Jason discussed the possibility of an NFL team calling London its home at some point in the future on their New Heights podcast.

Asked by a fan if they would play for a London team, Jason, 36, responded with a quick "f**k yes" before Travis echoed his older sibling's sentiment.

"Yes, 100 percent," the Chiefs star said.

"I'm waiting for that team.

"To play for another team, other than the Chiefs... that's the only situation – is if I get to play abroad."

Travis also predicted that the NFL would launch a team outside of America within the next 10 years.

"I don't know for a fact that it's gonna be London," he said.

"[But] I mean, it's where we've been playing for the most overseas."

Jason had no doubts that London would be the first non-US home of an NFL team, though.

"If there's an NFL team, the first city it's coming to is London," the Philadelphia Eagles icon said.

"I'll go on record for that.

"There's the most amount of fans here [outside the US].

"There's the biggest appetite in London, it's a major market.

"The only other cities it would also be in would be, like, I know Germany has a lot of NFL fans.

"So probably a German team, I'd assume Munich or Berlin."

Travis has just returned from London where he appeared on the stage at Wembley Stadium during his girlfriend Taylor Swift's Eras Tour gig.

The Chiefs tight end even got to meet Prince William and his children, posing for photos with the British royals alongside Swift.

"We met royalty, guys," Travis said on New Heights.

"There was royalty at the show. I got there early and got to meet Prince William. How bout that? Your Royal Highness."
