DeAndre Hopkins has high praise for the Tennessee Titans' wide receiver lineup, claiming it's the most talented he's ever been part of in his NFL career.
After signing a two-year contract with the Titans, Hopkins racked up 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns, quickly developing chemistry with rookie quarterback Will Levis. Despite the team's disappointing 6-11 finish at the bottom of the AFC South last season, Hopkins is optimistic about the team's revamped attack leading to better results in 2024.
The departure of Derrick Henry to the Baltimore Ravens meant the Titans had to bolster their passing game, which they did by signing Tony Pollard and acquiring Calvin Ridley from the Jacksonville Jaguars on a four-year contract. Additionally, Tyler Boyd joined the team on a one-year contract, reuniting with new head coach Brian Callahan.

With these strategic additions, Hopkins, entering his 12th season, feels more confident than ever about the strength of the Titans' receiving corps.
New England Patriots warned Mac Jones is "limited" as quarterback fined again"I think this is one of the best wide receiver groups I’ve had the chance to play with on paper,” Hopkins said, via Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. "Obviously, I could come up here and say a bunch, but we haven’t played a game yet. So, we’ll see how it goes once we hit the field. [We’re] just taking it day by day.
"Tyler Boyd has been in this program for a while. A lot of us are still learning how things go. Just coming out practicing."

Hopkins is set to line up alongside Ridley and Boyd, having recently praised the potential of 2022 first-round pick Treylon Burks. While he's excited about the talented squad forming, Hopkins is determined to prove himself as Levis' top target.
"I am always competing," the 31-year-old said. "Any time we get anyone who is a No.1 receiver, my mindset is to go out and outcompete them, outdo them. I’ve always had that mindset, Kobe Bryant being my favourite athlete of all time. Any time I get a chance to compete against anyone I am trying to outcompete them, trying to outdo them. And that’s only going to make the team better."
Entering the final year of his contract with the Titans, Hopkins is hopeful the attack will advance in 2024, especially with the Houston Texans posing a challenge in the AFC South.
