For Khai's third birthday, Gigi celebrated by sharing photos on Instagram of her daughter through the years and saying she's "so honored to get to be her mama."

In one photo, she shared pictures of Khai's Frozen-themed birthday cake and in another, they were seen having a fun day at the beach.
While they both live in the spotlight, they have chosen to raise their daughter in a much quieter location.
Khai is growing up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania, United States.
In a March 2024 interview with L'Officiel, Zayn opened up about the decision to raise Khai in Pennsylvania.
He said, "When I found out that my partner at the time was pregnant, I pretty quickly made up my mind that this would be a great place to raise a child because there's so much for her to do here."
He also revealed that he and Khai share a love of gardening and the outdoors.
The hitmaker added, "We do the gardening. [Khai] likes to camp with me. We cook outside. We fish a little bit. And she’s really into it, too, so it makes it fun."
When did Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik split?
Gigi and Zayn got together at the end of 2015 after meeting at a Victoria's Secret party.
Throughout their relationship, Gigi and Zayn have broken up and gotten back together multiple times.
On October 28, 2021, it was reported that the couple had parted ways yet again following allegations made by Yolanda that Zayn "struck her."

"They are not together right now. They are both good parents though," a Hadid family friend told People. "They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."
"Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time," Gigi's rep later added.
Prior to this, The Sun exclusively revealed how the superstar couple had broken up back in 2018, but they had seemed to work things out.
As early as October 2023, Gigi has been spotted out and about the streets of New York City with actor Bradley Cooper.
Since then, rumors that the two are dating have made rounds but neither party has confirmed or denied the relationship.
On the other hand, Zayn is not currently believed to be dating at the moment.

Since the birth of their daughter, both Gigi and Zayn have worked to keep Khai's identity under wraps.
While both parents share glimpses of their toddler on social media, they are careful to edit her face out of any shots.
However, on occasion, the mother and father of one have spoken to the public about their experiences as famous parents.
In a January 2023 interview with The Wall Street Journal, Gigi described the morning routine that she shares with her toddler.
“Whatever time she’s waking up, I’m waking up,” she said. “I have a very mom morning routine.”
Zayn also opened up about fatherhood and co-parenting in a rare 2023 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
"Since I’ve had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her,” he said.
“That’s why I’m even doing this interview," he continued.
"I used to get a lot of anxiety around having a conversation like this. And I want her to be able to look at me and be like, 'My dad’s doing this.'"
The singer also revealed that he and Gigi share 50/50 custody of Khai.
"I'm hands-on with my child every chance I can be," he said.
“That time I have with her is so important because I feel like she’s grown up so fast.”
He added, "When I’m with her I don’t work. I just spend a full day with her doing the things that she wants to do, like painting, Play-Doh, this, that, go to the park, go to the theme park, go to the zoo, like we just have fun.”
In May 2024, Zayn once again opened up about how fatherhood "changed him" for the better in an episode of Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast.
"Fatherhood has changed me in general. It has changed my approach to a lot of things in life. I have developed a hell of a lot more patience."
He also added that he thought he would be a "stricter" parent, but admits it is difficult saying "no" to his daughter.
"I thought 'oh I won't let them get away with this' and that but actually I do everything she asks me to do!"
Zayn also told Cotton that his daughter brings him happiness he didn't know was possible.
"I feel like my daughter brought that colour back in my life," he said.
"She just makes me happy. I have so much love in me that I didn't have before she was born," he added.
