THE BBC has axed a beloved property and its spin-off series in the broadcaster's latest telly cull.

The show, which was presented by Strictly's Angela Scanlon, ran for four series on BBC Two.

It saw two designers go head-to-head to win over families with their ideas - all while using virtual reality technology so each homeowner could 'try before they buy' in a groundbreaking TV first.

A spokesperson for the BBC told TVZone there were 'no plans' for future series of either the regular or spin-off series.

Last year, furious Your Home Made Perfect viewers called for the show to be taken off air due to "insensitive" comments.

The BBC series made repeated references to the ill-fated Titanic cruise liner in an episode that aired amid the huge search operation for the missing submarine that disappeared on a mission to visit the doomed vessel.

While the programme was filmed before the sub tragedy, viewers felt it shouldn't have aired at all.

Your Home Made Perfect's axe comes as ITV confirmed it had culled The Beast Must Die.

The drama made its initial debut in 2021 and it was originally given the green light for BritBox UK.

Devastated fans had previously been promised that a second series was in the works.

The show was a five-part limited series based off the book of the same name by Nicholas Blake.
