LOVE Island's Ayo Odukoya is gearing up to enter the famous villa with the brand new cast.
Despite being confirmed for series 11, the footballer and model, 25, has admitted that he's never actually watched the show.
Ayo Odukoya said that he doesn't want to date a girl who is only interested in his careerAyo, who hails from Canning Town, is also connected to two former stars.
Sitting down with The Sun for an exclusive interview, Ayo was asked if he was a fan of the show.
"I haven't watched the show. I'm not so into the mix with what's going on with the show," he confessed.
What Ola and James Jordan really ate and did to shed 7stDespite not being in the loop, he knows a few of the former stars on a deeper level.
"I know a few people, Toby is someone I played football with back in the day. And I know Tyrique’s little brother," he told us.
Ayo, who plays for Isthimian league North side Redbridge FC, said that he's spotting girls who are only interested in his career.
"The crazy thing is it’s probably easier to see that on the outside rather than inside the villa. Outside I can definitely spot the ones who just want a baller," he continued.
When asked if he had been on dates with footballer-hungry girls, he said he found them "very boring".
"They're all very boring! I've had some bad dates with these people and you realise that will be the first and last one."
Ayo said he wanted to take part in the show as it was a good opportunity to find someone.
In a previous interview he said: "It seems like something to have a go at. Of course, you can’t go wrong trying to find that love again - that is something that would be amazing to find if possible.
"I don’t really like being outside too much, I’ve been outside recently and it’s not fun outside! I do prefer to be indoors chilling with that person I can do stuff with.
"It would be nice to have that with somebody again."
I'm a 'time traveler' - the 'worst case scenario that could kill us all'Ayo went onto describe what would make him someone worth coupling up with.
He said: "I feel like the way I carry myself is very respectful and I think people take to that and once you show who you are to somebody you get it back tenfold.
"The way I am gives off a good enough energy for people to feel comfortable around me."
The new series of Love Island will start on June 3, 2024 at 9pm.
Ayo will be one of the first Islanders to enter the villa for the 2024 series.
The first episode of the new series will air on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX simultaneously, with the rest of the series being shown on ITV2 and ITVX.
