Lindt launches milkshakes and chocolate fans say 'I need them so badly'

Chocolate fans have been left gobsmacked by the brand new Lindt milkshakes which have launched.

There's nothing quite like treating yourself to some luxury chocolate when you are in the mood for a sweet treat. Since launching 1879, Lindt has continued to be one a favourite among chocolate lovers. The brand is best known for its iconic shiny wrappers and is often seen in households at Easter and Christmas times plus other special occasions.

While Lindt is known for its classic, it is also adapting to modern times and has now launched milkshake stalls in some UK stores. The treats are said to be "perfect for those sunny, warm weekends ahead".

The milkshakes are made with creamy, whipped Lindt ice cream, milk chocolate, and white chocolate favourites. Flavours available include dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or vanilla white chocolate. The shakes will be available to order from Lindt stores in Wembley, Cannock, Portsmouth, Caledonia, Kildare Village, and Ashford stores.

A video clip shared on the company's UK Instagram page showed a staff member making a chocolate Lindt milkshake. The individual started by filling a branded transparent cup with ice cream and milk before pouring it into a blender. They then blend the mixture before serving and adding chocolate sprinkles on top.

Thousands of chocolate fans have shared their delight. One individual said: "I want mine! Anybody get me a trip to Lindt." "It's a need," said another. "I've never needed something so bad," wrote a third.

Another Lindt fan said the announcement is the "best excuse to go back" to one of the stores. "Omg I want," wrote another. "That looks so good," another commented.

"Oh lord, they look insane," another chocolate lover said. "Shut the front door," a stunned individual said.

Fans are now calling for Lindt to expand their milkshake offering to other stores around the UK - with hopes the milkshakes will be available in the likes of Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, and Guilford.
