Fourteen killed and hundreds injured in the latest blasts in Lebanon as Israel declares a ‘new phase’ of the war

The health ministry reports at least 450 injured after walkie-talkies exploded. Meanwhile, Yoav Gallant did not address the explosions but praised Israel’s army and security agencies for their ’very impressive’ results.

Israel’s defence minister declares the start of a "new phase" of war as its army turns attention to the northern front with Lebanon.

It comes after hand-held radios used by Hezbollah exploded, killing at least 14 people and wounding hundreds more - a day after deadly pager blasts.
