How Clean Is Your House? star Aggie MacKenzie reveals working with co-star Kim Woodburn was 'difficult'.
The two stars worked side-by-side between 2003 and 2009 on the Channel 4 cleaning programme.
In the series, the duo cleaned and transformed dirty homes around the UK but their relationship wasn't as breezy.
Speaking about working with the legendary Kim, Aggie admitted that Kim 'is not the most straightforward person'.
"I think we're chalk and cheese, and so different from each other, but I think that was one of the reasons why it worked," she told Nana Akua on GB News on Sunday.
Big Brother star takes swipe at Holly Willoughby as Phillip Schofield is axed"Because of the friction there was between us, it created this energy and so we knew how to be in front of the camera. I mean, most of it was ad lib. We had an idea of the storyline, but we just kind of made it up as we went along."
“Kim is not the most straightforward person," she continued. "I'm somebody who just likes to get on and Kim had a very difficult beginning, a difficult childhood and I think in her home, growing up, there was lots of conflict, many rows and she spent a lot of her childhood in a children's home."
Aggie added that she thinks it must be 'kind of normal' for Kim to have conflict in her life.
"I think that if things are calm and easy, I think she found that quite difficult," Aggie explained. "That's not me, I like it easy peasy. There were lots of highs, and a few lows."
She went on to add that the show came to a 'natural' end and that her and Kim's relationship became 'a bit difficult'.
"A bit too difficult actually, and I think we both needed a change as well," Aggie said.
"We did it for a while and it became really I mean, it was very stressful. We did it for six years, and that's a long time."
The TV stars haven't properly talked to each other since having a huge fallout in 2008, and Aggie previously claimed they didn't have any civil conversations during the last two series of their show.
She even claimed that Kim bullied her, but the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate denied it.
Kim told Mirror Online a few years ago: "I have never said anything derogatory about Aggie and I am not going to start now. I am unclear where these false allegations have come from but I wish her all the luck in the world."
