A huge haul of Hermes handbags, cash, and bespoke jewellery worth millions of pounds has been stolen from a home in London.

An intruder broke into a home in Avenue Road, Camden on December 7, getting in through a second-floor window while the residents were away.

The burglar managed to steal £150,000 worth of Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags, £15,000 in cash, and £10.4million of bespoke jewellery.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s to 30s, of medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, cargo pants and a grey baseball cap.

His face was covered during the break-in, which happened at some point between 5-5.30pm.

Detective Constable Paulo Roberts said: ‘This is a brazen offence, where the suspect has entered the property while armed with an unknown weapon and violated the sanctuary of the victims’ home.

‘The suspect has stolen £10.4million worth of jewellery, much of which is sentimental and unique in its design, and therefore easily identifiable.
