KRIS Marshall makes a VERY awkward arrival in a first look clip at Beyond Paradise.
The Death in Paradise spin-off starts tonight on BBC One and sees Kris reprise his role as DI Humphrey Goodman.
Humphrey moves to Devon with his fiancee Martha Lloyd, and the clip shows him explaining his reasons for the move to his new police colleague DS Esther Williams.
As DS Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) drives the car along the pretty coastline, Humphrey says: "My fiancee Martha was born here.
"We were starting to find life in London a little exhausting...we talked about making a new start and where that might be and hey presto, here we are!"

As he speaks he is fiddling with his passenger seat as he doesn't have much legroom, but all of a sudden, the seat shoots back giving them both a shock.
As he shimmies it back forwards he says: "Sorry...long legs."
However, his knee then accidentally opens the glove box of Esther's car, revealing a pair of gloves.
Humphrey says: "Wow, that is amazing. You actually have gloves in your glove box.
"I used mine to hide the phone whenever my Chief Superintendent called me."
Looking non-plussed, Esther pushes it shut sharply and replies: "I use mine for gloves."
Kris, 49, first played DI Humphrey in Death in Paradise from 2014 to 2017.
Viewers were delighted when Humphrey took control of his destiny and followed Martha back to London to declare his undying love for her, before Ardal O'Hanlon took over as the show's main detective.
He subsequently left in 2020, with Ralf Little taking over as DI Neville Parker, with the finale of season 12 airing immediately after Beyond Paradise's debut tonight.
