NAGA Munchetty was warned to "behave" today by one of her BBC Breakfast co-stars after being told off for "complaining".

The 47-year-old presenter was hilariously taken down this morning by weather presenter Chris Fawkes.

Naga is known for her cheeky quips on the popular morning show, but today found herself at the end of the joke.

It came after Naga and her BBC Breakfast co-star Roger Johnson wanted to give viewers an update on the weather halfway through the programme.

Presenter Chris appeared on screen with a striking photograph of a sunrise behind him.

Roger exclaimed: "Now what's that? Red sky in the morning, shepherds' warning?"

The weather correspondent then poked fun at Naga by explaining: "Well Naga was complaining just half an hour ago."

She started laughing and chimed in: "That's unlike me, isn't it?"

He told viewers Naga was moaning about his original photograph of a raining sky looking "too gloomy" for a Saturday morning.

"So I thought I'd put a cheerier picture on the screen behind me," Chris stressed after changing the image.

Naga interjected: "You got an, 'Oh' this time when I turned around and saw you, it's lovely."

As Chris looked at the sunrise photograph taken in Walmer, Kent, by a viewer named Mrs M, he warned Naga to "behave".

Meanwhile, yesterday Naga took a cheeky swipe at co-star Mike Bushell after she commented on his "tired" appearance live on air.

She was joined in the studio by fellow host Ben Thompson on Friday morning.

Naga, who often enjoys some harmless banter with her co-stars, was quick to have a pop at sports presenter Mike Bushell.

She joked that Mike looked "tired" right before he was due to deliver his sporting segment on the morning show.

Pointing out Mike's sleep-deprived appearance, Naga said: "It's coming up to twenty-minutes-to-seven..."

She then jokingly exclaimed: "Now... tired, Mike?"

Mike took the jibe in good humour and turned to the camera and confessed: "Am I? I haven't got any sleep last night, actually!"

But Naga reassured him she was only joking as "fatigue" was a key theme in his pending football segment.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
