JOEY Essex had an unfortunate Dancing on Ice blunder after he performed his topless routine - but it wasn't shown on camera.
The reality star, 32, impressed on Sunday night with racy a surftastic routine that grabbed viewers' attention.
But fans at home had no idea that Joey suffered a fall after his showstopping performance.
As he skated out of the studio and the cameras returned to presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, Joey tripped over his prop.
Dancing on Ice's creative director Dan Whiston told The Sun: "As Joey skated off down the tunnel, he fell over his surfboard in front of the entire studio audience.

"It wasn’t caught on camera, so won’t be popping up on ‘It’ll Be Alright on the Night’ but I think the viewers at home could hear the background laughter as Holly and Phil were linking into the next performer."
Joey's performance had some fans fuming with the show's decision to allow him to perform topless - after Ekin-Su's racy costume earlier in the series led to a flurry of Ofcom complaints.
One fan said: "So Joey can skate half naked but Ekin Su gets attacked by the masses for wearing a skin-toned leotard. Do me a favour."
Another said: "Will Joey get complaints for wearing next to nothing or was that complaint just for Ekin-Su?#DancingOnIce #doi ."
Speaking more about Joey's performance, Dan added: "Joey’s routine was so entertaining that you couldn’t help but smile when he skated with his surfboard prop.
"The energy he brought to the ice and behind the scenes was the tonic everybody needed this week, as rehearsals were stressful at times."
Meanwhile, Carley Stenson was the latest star to be dumped from the show after a tense skate-off.
The soap star went head-to-head with Siva in a bid to reach the semi-final.
But all four judges chose to save The Wanted icon, leaving Carley in tears.
