The broadcasting giant is looking for people to try out some of its secret projects before anyone else.

At the moment, Sky is looking for gamers to test something to do with Sky Go.

Sky Go is the company's streaming app for iPhone, Android, as well as consoles.

At the moment, users on PlayStation and Xbox are sought after.

Sky want people with either current gen or last gen consoles - so PS4 and PS5, or Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

The TV leader is keeping tight lipped about what the scheme entails.

But an application page says: "Thank you for showing an interest in trials, now for the exciting part, please create your profile by adding your devices within your household.

"The more devices you have listed the more opportunity there is for varied trial invitations.

You will be prompted on sign up to create a basic and extended profile."

Early testers are an important part of getting new products right.

It's common among all sorts of tech, such as WhatsApp and Android.

Of course, it comes with risks too.

Beta products tend to be incomplete or have bugs.

This is why developers need people to try them out so testers can alert them of any issues they encounter - and fix them before a full release.
