The 199-acre Viirelaid Island is the second smallest nation in the world, coming second only to the Vatican.
The island is not supported by the EU or neighbouring Estonia, instead, it's managed entirely by two friends and the community that has gathered around them - with a population of six.

The accommodation includes 16 bedrooms spread over five detached houses and a glamping village with ten tents.
The main lighthouse was built in 1880 but was recently renovated in 2016.
The lighthouse can sleep up to 29 people with seven bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen with a fireplace.
The rest of the rooms are in the remaining four houses, including a bunk bed house, a seminar house with five single beds and a sauna suite.
There's also a bar with a bartender serving classic cocktails and their own Viirelaid's snaps and beers, which you can only get on the island.

The private hire is available for private or corporate events, weddings, anniversaries and holidays.
The island has plenty of events throughout the year as well, including a 'fun fest' with live music, a family day and dinners in the sea.
