Others, though, reacted anxiously to the pain he appeared to be in as he was crocked in Saturday's Premier League clash without any obvious firm contact.
One posted: "Looks like a serious knee injury. We might have seen Costa in a Wolves shirt for the final time."
And when another suggested it could be an ACL injury, it met with the response: "That or Achilles… looked like a non-contact."
Costa joined Wolves from Atletico Mineiro last September until the end of the season.
