PRINCE Harry's ghost-writer JR Moehringer has appeared to call the duke selfish in a veiled swipe.

The American novelist and journalist liked a Tweet which slammed the Duke of Sussex's revelation that he killed 25 people in Afghanistan.

Writing in his autobiography Spare, Harry said he was neither proud nor ashamed of "taking human lives" as it was simply his job as a solider.

While working as an Apache helicopter pilot during a deployment between 2012 to 2013, he claimed he flew on six missions that resulted in Taliban deaths.

The Prince says that he did not think of the 25 as "people" but rather "chess pieces" that had to be taken off the board.

Harry has since been blasted by many, including by a retired military officer who accused him of putting British troops at risk of revenge attacks.

And former Sunday Times editor Andrew Neil also took to social media to slam Harry's decision to share such sensitive information.

He posted on Twitter: "Harry’s claim that he killed 25 Taliban is a nightmare — an absolute nightmare — for his security teams.

"How stupid can you be?"

Another user named Louise Puddicombe replied to the Tweet and said: "It is all me me me."

But, eagle-eyed Twitter users spotted Moehringer appeared to have liked the tweet.

It's unclear if the account is run by the author, or if the like was on purpose.

It comes as ex-marine Pen Farthing revealed he had to evacuate Kabul as a result of Harry’s explosive claims.

This week The Sun scooped the world by getting hold of a Spanish copy of the book, due to come out on January 10.

It was there that Harry revealed the killings.

In the memoir the Prince also revealed he has taken cocaine, cannabis, magic mushrooms and even used laughing gas while Meghan was giving birth.

It has since been revealed the Prince was allowed to leave his Apache helicopter base after it was put in lockdown when random drug testers arrived.

In the memoir, Harry has also told of how he lost his virginity to an older woman, and claimed that brother Prince William "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor".

The Prince has also sensationally claimed he was not William's best man as he slammed the "bare-faced lie".

But, Spare has also left seven questions unanswered - including the identity of his older lover.
