DISNEY has hit back after fans were left disappointed when Spencer Matthews' heavily promoted documentary failed to make it to air on the streaming platform.
Bosses from the popular streamer have issued a statement and confirmed that the programme starring Spencer would be making its debut 'soon'.
The programme, entitled Finding Michael, was to follow former Made in Chelsea star Spencer as he returned to Everest where his brother Michael went missing whilst climbing the mountain 24 years ago.
Having reached the summit, Michael died just hours later on the mountain and now Spencer has been determined to find his body and his final resting place in the deeply personal documentary.
Spencer's programme was expected to air on Friday the 3rd of March and came after a week of promotion by the star, including attending a launch night premiere.

However, the programme mysteriously failed to appear on the scheduled release date and Disney bosses have now spoken out after fan backlash.
In the statement, Disney+ said: "We're sorry that the debut date for Finding Michael has shifted on Disney+.
"We will let you know as soon as we have new timings for its launch. This will be in the near future. Thanks for your patience."
Fans were left furious as they took to Twitter to question the programme's disappearance.
One wrote: "Why can't I watch #FindingMichael on@DisneyPlus ? Thought it was released yesterday???"
Another posted: "Looks like @DisneyPlusRP lost the documentary you were supposed to release this Friday."
A third said: "@DisneyPlus where is the #FindingMichael documentary?? Was really looking forward to that tonight."
Spencer learned of his brother's passing at 10 years old but during a candid chat on This Morning on Friday, the show's scheduled release day, Spencer admitted that he believes he was at the best possible age to be at to discover the news.
The emotional star said: "If if there is anything to be grateful for it is that I was that age - I was not hit by it in the same way that it hit the rest of my family."
He added of the moment his parents told him: "They said Michael has been lost on the mountain, for me, I was like 'let me know when you find him'.

"I didn't process the fact that meant it was more than likely that he was dead."
He continued: "My parents did such a great job - I feel very thankful that I was quite sheltered from it.
"Our family moved through it with pain but I look back at that time and I was certainly able to live my life."
