Angel and husband Dick have continued to keep fans up to date with their life at their impressive French home on social media and have also jetted off Down Under for a unique tour.

Now in a chat with Hello!, Angel has admitted the one part of the home that desperately needs doing up admitting it would be her one final big job.

Angel told the publication: "We would like to get to a stage where all our windows are replaced! It's a massive undertaking. We started at the end of last year and it's the final big job."

The TV star admitted concern that if they were to not make the changes that she fears the home could become a burden for their children, Arthur and Dorothy, in years to come.

She continued: "Once it's done, it means the Chateau should never be a burden for Arthur and Dorothy."

It is clear that Angel views the home as a legacy for her children as she admitted that she and Dick wished to put the work in now so that their kids and future generations thereafter can live in the home without worrying about having to keep it updated.

She confessed in the chat that her most emotional moment whilst renovating was seeing the exterior finished as she knew it would live on for generations to come.

Angel said: "Seeing the Chateau exterior finished with the new render and roof was a big deal for us.

"Not just because it looked so utterly stunning, but we also knew it was a job Arthur and Dorothy, and their children in turn, will never have to worry about."

Elsewhere she revealed that she was glad to have walked away from her TV show after eight years as she viewed it as leaving on a "high".

She added: "We started filming in 2014 – so it's been nearly nine years! And nine seasons! The Chateau is our home, so nothing has changed for us as a family.

"We will continue to share our adventures but in a slightly different way.

"With the children growing up fast, it felt like the right thing to do and it's satisfying to leave a project on a high."
