ED SHEERAN recently poured his heart out on his new track Eyes Closed to pay tribute to his late music producer friend Jamal Edwards.
Now The Wanted star Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has told how Ed has also been a huge support to her since her husband’s death.
Kelsey was chatting about her grieving to presenter Ashley Cain on new MTV series Faces, a year after Tom’s death from cancer last March.
Kelsey – who has two young children, daughter Aurelia and son Bodie, by Tom – said the support from her “village” – or friends and family – is what has got her through the dark times.
Speaking about the Shape of You singer Ed – who also helped pay for Tom’s medical bills after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour – Kelsey said: “Ed is just an incredible person and what he did when we needed him, I will for ever be thankful for.

"And I know Tom will for ever be thankful for everything Ed did for us.
“Ed is looked after by Kev, his security guard, who was also Tom’s security.
"The love for Kev will for ever hold them together.”
Asked if Ed has written any songs for Tom, Kelsey added: “No, but Ed can write me a song if he wants – and if he wants me to do some clapping on a track, I am there.”
