Who has custody of Honey Boo Boo?
During Alana's TLC days, fans were also introduced to her parents, mom June "Mama June" Shannon and dad Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson.

In 2019, she was placed in the care of her half-sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird amid her mother's struggles with addiction and was then granted full custody in June 2022.

Along with being awarded custody, the courts also ordered June to pay Lauryn $800 a month in child support until she turns 18 in August 2023, PageSix notes.

In September 2021, Alan went public with her relationship with Dralin Carswell.
While not much is known about his personal life, a source told The U.S. Sun that he is a college student.
He previously attended a Nashville technical school before the Covid-19 pandemic began but now resides in Georgia near Alana.

"She’s not getting married, she’s not having a kid, she's doing very good in school," Pumpkin explained.
She went on to add that she thinks Alana and her man are "on the same wavelength."
