CODY RHODES moved the WWE Universe at WrestleMania 39 to tears before his match with Roman Reigns.
Rhodes challenged Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Reigns on Sunday at the SoFi Stadium in Hollywood and had fans crying with a touching gesture before the bell.
The American Nightmare offered his belt to the son of legendary professional wrestler Brodie Lee, whose real name was Jon Huber and also performed in WWE as Luke Harper.
Lee died suddenly in 2020 at the age of 41 due to a lung illness and plunged the wrestling world into mourning.

The ex-Intercontinental Champion passed away during his time at AEW when Rhodes was part of the company as executive vice president.
Since then, Tony Khan's promotion has been taking care of Lee's family and the 37-year-old grappler has remained close with his wife and children despite his return to Vince McMahon's company.
That is why they were invited at WrestleMania and sat on the front row where the ex-Intercontinental Champion gave his former colleague's son Brodie his special gift.
Lee's widow Amanda Huber showed her appreciation with the following tweet: "I am legitimately crying. The way he looks at him. The way they look at each other.
"Words cant express how special @CodyRhodes is to us. He made Brodie safe on the worst day of his life. I can never ever repay his love or friendship."
Fans were left "sobbing" after that touching moment as they also took to social media to praise Rhodes.

The American also greeted his wife Brandi and their child before his losing effort in the main event.
One fan tweeted: "Such a wonderful moment and a lovely thing to do. Lovely to hear Brodie mentioned on commentary too. Never forgotten."
Another posted: "Cody Rhodes giving his WrestleMania weight belt to Brodie Lee Jr as Michael Cole mentions the history on commentary. Iâm going to cry."

This fan commented: "Cody is a class act and a good man, this was so nice for Brodie, what a great thing to do."
And that one said: "I was sobbing. That was extremely emotional without having to hear anything they said. The emotions told it all. Love this."
Rhodes lost to Reigns in a controversial main event that saw the titleholder's cousin Solo Sikoa costing the challenger with a Samoan Spike while the referee was distracted.
