FRANK RIJKAARD reckons former Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be the next manager of the Netherlands.
Van Bronckhorst has been out of work since his job at Ibrox was terminated in November following a disastrous Champions League campaign and a series of poor results.
He's kept a low profile since, but Dutch icon Rijkaard - who managed both his country and Barcelona - believes van Bronckhorst, who won 106 caps, would be an ideal fit to manage his country in the future.
Rijkaard said: "Yes, I think Gio will be the national coach one day.
"I have a warm heart for him, I'm happy to see how well he has done as a manager.

"Of course, he had to leave Rangers not so long ago, but that can happen.
"But I always think he comes across very well.
"He is still the manager who has won the most trophies recently with Feyenoord and he did it with players that were not from their heyday, they were ordinary.
"I really thought he was a great representative of Feyenoord."
Former Gers coach and close friend of Van Bronckhorst, Teri Bowley, recently said the Dutchman wouldn't be short of job offers after leaving Rangers.
He also insisted nobody hurt more from the Gers' downfall under Van Bronckhorst than the manager himself.
Bowley told The Herald: "He will be back managing, for sure, I think he will manage at a good level, I really do. He hasn’t been short of offers and he won’t be short of offers.
"It is a real shame the way that it went. It is a real shame because he didn’t deserve for it to end the way that it did. Nobody hurt more than him, I can tell you that. Nobody hurt more than him.
"When he first came to (Manchester) City, you could tell how much he loved Rangers.
"When he talks through his career, he says it is probably the best time in his career because they were all young, they had such a brilliant time at the club winning trophies and also around the city.

"As a person, what you see and what you experience is genuinely who he is. When he works with us, that is what he is like. He trusts people to do their job, he gives trust to players.
"With most people you have to earn that, but he starts from a position of giving you trust and you work from there. An outstanding guy."
