Go on my San.

The Coral Cup is one of the most competitive races of the week but SAN SALVADOR (2.50) looks to have what it takes to snatch the trophy.

He has looked an improved hurdler in two starts this season with the softer ground and return to distances around this 2m5f trip behind his rise through the ranks.

He returned from a break to run a promising second at Cork before going one better in a decent Punchestown contest over Christmas.

The way he travelled through that race was most impressive and he had the race won after bursting clear early in the straight. Have 2pts each-way at 16-1. Sky Bet are paying out on eight places with other bookies going seven.

COEUR SUBLIME (4.50) makes his handicap debut in the Grand Annual after a string of promising efforts in graded races.

He ran top-class Blue Lord to a head in a Punchestown Grade 1 last spring and would have probably won a Naas Grade 3 on his comeback run in November.

His fourth behind Blue Lord at Leopardstown over Christmas was no disgrace and, although he was beaten at odds-on a couple of weeks ago, the race didn’t really pan out ideally.

The demands of this handicap could well suit Henry de Bromhead’s runner and he has been given a right chance by the British handicapper.

With excellent young claiming-jockey Ben Harvey in the saddle, he must have a great shout. Have 1pt each-way at 12-1. Plenty of bookies are paying out on six places.

Willie Mullins has dominated the Weatherbys Champion Bumper, winning the Festival’s only flat race a dozen times since it was introduced just over 30 years ago.

The Irish champion trainer often wins it with one of his lesser fancied runners.

That bodes well for FUN FUN FUN (5.30). She was hugely impressive when winning at the Dublin Racing Festival last month when returning from a break.

There’s every chance she will improve for that run and mares have an excellent record in this race. Have 2pts to win at 17-2.
