CELEBRITY chef Heston Blumenthal’s airport café is getting a roasting.

Diners at Heathrow’s The Perfectionists’ Café reckoned the food was bland, service poor and prices too high.

The venue, which “caters to passengers who want exceptional food quickly”, has dozens of one and two-star reviews on Google.

One reckoned: “So far from perfection, I doubt they can even see its outline.” And another disgruntled customer hit out at “extremely high prices” and said: “A horrendous experience. I would not recommend this place for my worst enemy.

“Service is rude, food quality is poor and wait time is at best subpar.

“Do yourself a favour and go spend your money somewhere else.” A third said: “Wetherspoons’ breakfast is better and cheaper but there isn’t one in T2.”

At The Perfectionists’ Café all-day breakfast costs £15.25, fish and chips is £21 and a truffled salami and mushroom pizza comes in at £17.50.

Michelin-starred Heston set up the café in 2014 based on his 2006 telly series In Search of Perfection. He was contacted for a comment.
