WITH a host of sexy singletons ready to head into the villa in a matter of days - Love Island fans have spotted something very frustrating about the new line-up.

From a celebrity makeup artist to TikTok farmer and fashion influencers, this year has a mix of contestants all hoping to find love in South Africa.

But not all fans are convinced that this year's contestants are in it for the right reason and have already hit out at the line-up for being more interested in elevating their social media career.

Fans have begged the show to include older people over 30 who are "serious" about finding love.

The youngest contestant in the original line-up is 20-year-old Anna-May Robey, a payroll administrator from Swansea, while the oldest is Olivia Hawkins, 27, a ring girl from Brighton.

One fan wrote: "Could we get some older cast mates that truly want love rather than a life after show that is focused on how many deals or followers they get?"

Another posted: "I’m just bored of the young ones, set up drama, set up conversations."

"As much as I love this show why can’t we have contestants over 30? That actually want to find someone and couldn’t care less about selling black charcoal toothpaste," a third echoed.

Someone else pleaded: "Please do a love island with normal everyday people..Sharon from Tesco and Pete the lorry driver, these are all just fame hungry influencers."

Another agreed: "Please start casting older. 25-30 would be so much better.

Someone else added: "How many off these love island contestants are doing it for the fame/clout/money and who is there for love???"

Although not all fans are happy with the fresh set of hot singletons, there will be many who are counting down the days for the return of more villa drama.

New host Maya Jama touched down in South Africa over the weekend ready for the January 16 launch night.

Temperatures will soar to the 30 degree mark as the contestants trade chilly Britain for hotter climes.

Love Island bosses have scrapped the previous villa for this series and are putting the stars up in a luxury manor house.

The sprawling mansion is set in millionaire’s row in South Africa and features an array of old and new elements, including the traditional fire-pit.

The property boasts an enormous pool set in a huge courtyard with a large sunbathing deck which will welcome the wannabes in January.

One night in the plush mansion costs upwards of £430 a night.

An insider said: “The villa is absolutely amazing, Maya is raring to go and this series’ contestants are looking to be the sexiest ever.

“It is a really exciting time for everyone who works on the show and they cannot wait to get started.”
