Manchester City are looking to wrestle back their stranglehold on the Carabao Cup as they make the trip to struggling Southampton in the quarter-finals.
Pep Guardiola had led his side to the trophy in four successive seasons prior to Liverpool winning the competition last season. It was only the third time City had failed to land the cup since winning it during the 2013/14 season, with their tally of eight second only to Liverpool, whose ninth crown last season took them ahead.
This season offers favourites City a perfect opportunity to draw level again though, with next opponents Southampton on a run of four straight defeats since their last 16 win over Lincoln City before Christmas. Here's everything you need to know about the game...

The two sides will battle it out at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on Wednesday, January 11, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm.

Ruben Dias has been ruled out for Man City as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. Jack Grealish has also been struggling with illness and may not be fit in time to feature.
Guardiola has always taken the Carabao Cup seriously and will likely field a strong side, though Rico Lewis and Stefan Ortega could both be in line to start.
Southampton have a number of long-term injury absentees who will not feature against City, while Alex McCarthy is nearing a return but is unlikely to play a part.
