Police are due to quiz him within weeks over a string of murders, drug conspiracies and robberies across the North West.

“Then cops will go in, question him and they will dangle the carrot of extra privileges if he talks.

“Officers think Cashman's testimony holds the to cleaning up the streets of Merseyside - he is that important.

“They know he realises he’s a dead man walking.

“His only chance of survival could be working with those who got him banged up.”

Cashman, 34, is in jail isolation.

He must serve a minimum of 42 years after shooting Olivia in Liverpool last August.

The two guns he used have not been recovered, sparking fears they will be used in other crimes.
