As judge John Torode held one of them up, fans snapped on social media saying they 'didn't qualify' to be placed next to a Sunday roast.

One said: "#MasterChef... that was never a Yorkshire Pudding!"

A second commented: "You can't have a flat yorkshire pudding."

"Oh my god that was not a Yorkshire Pudding," fumed a third.

While a fourth commented: "She's banned from Yorkshire for crimes against Yorkshire pudding."

Meanwhile, fans had another complaint about the standard of dishes for a tribute challenge.

Telly fans flocked to Twitter to complain as chef Matthew revealed what he was cooking.

Inspired by TV chef Ainsley Harriott, he whipped up a delicious jerk chicken, mac and cheese and plantain.

While judge Gregg was blown away by it, fans had other ideas.
