HOMES Under the Hammer star Martel Maxwell has revealed that she was involved in a skiing accident while on holiday.
The TV star opened up about the incident which unfolded while she was hitting the slopes in the Austrian Alps.

She told how she was left hurtling "towards a sharp drop" after tricky conditions caused another skier to collide with her.
Martel wrote in The Courier: It’s bizarre reading at the best of times, but I happened to read it (Paltrow's case) on the same day I’d had a collision in the Austrian Alps while on a family ski holiday.

"The scariest bit was hurtling with him towards a sharp drop but (a bruised leg aside) everything was thankfully fine.
"The skiing conditions that afternoon were pretty tricky as the sun melted the snow and I think he simply lost control after his skis hit sludge.
"He apologised and checked I was OK.
"Even though I was in a bit of shock, I thanked him for apologising and checked he was OK too."
Martel went on to speak about how the case could gp on to damage Paltrow's reputation - even though she won.
The actress and beauty won a lawsuit brought against her by a doctor who said she caused him lifelong injuries following a ski crash.
Paltrow, 50, was awarded a symbolic $1 after eight days of testimony as part of a countersuit to an action brought by optometrist Terry Sanderson.
The Goop founder was sued by optometrist Terry Sanderson, 73, for $300,000 who claimed that a collision on the Park City, Utah, slopes gave him broken ribs and brain injuries in 2016.
Initially, Sanderson sought at least $3.1million from Paltrow, but Third District Judge Kent Holmberg dismissed some of the claims made against the Iron Man actress in May 2022.

For days, the actress was grilled with questions ranging from the details of the accident to allegedly giving singer Taylor Swift an explicit present.
After the decision was read, both parties appeared to be stoic with Sanderson hanging his head.
