Bernice Blackstock suffers new blow in Emmerdale as she struggles with illnessFans were left fuming and ripped into the broadcaster, with one tweeting: "Come on, ITV, start the bloody show!"
A second said: "When's The Chase on then?"
However, its delayed starting time wasn't the only thing to rub up fans wrong way.
They were left disappointed that a regular episode aired instead of a celebrity edition.

Viewers shouldn't worry too much as ITV have confirmed The Chase will return to its usual timeslot tomorrow.
Tipping Point with Ben Shephard will begin at 4pm and Bradley and his chasers will follow directly afterwards.
