ONE Show legend Matt Baker has been flooded with support after sharing some devastating news yesterday.
The TV presenter took to Instagram in an emotional post honouring his beloved dog who passed away this week.
The Our Farm in the Dales host uploaded snaps of the adorable late pooch with a heartfelt message.
It read: "So sad, we’ve said Goodbye to Isla, our oldest & smallest cairn at 13yrs.
"She was sweet natured, kind, tough, fast as lightning, and a patient gentle Mum.

"She was the one with the voice to let us know when they all wanted to be in or be out.. We’ll miss her #cairnterrier #doglovers #friendforlife."
Matt also took to his personal Instagram account to comment further: "The reason we love dogs so much is the only time they break our hearts is when they leave us."
Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins was one of the first to send Matt some love, telling the star: "Big hugs."
Another fan wrote: "So very sorry to hear that. I’m certain she couldn’t have had any better life than with you,"
"Think I had the pleasure of meeting her unexpectedly a couple of months back! So sorry for your loss, they are part of the family. sending love xxx", agreed a third.
Someone else commented: "No matter how many years we have with our pets it is not enough , So so for your loss of Isla, I’m sure Paul O'Grady will look after her for you xxx."
"I am terribly sorry for your loss, sending love to your family x" penned another.
Back in 2009 Matt joined the Countryfile team, first as a presenter for Countryfile Summer Diaries on weekday mornings on BBC One before co-presenting the evening show.
He also hosted the first series of Secret Britain with Julia Bradbury and One Man And His Dog with Kate Humble.
Matt Baker became the well loved co-host with Alex Jones on The One Show in 2011 and disappointed fans when he revealed his departure in 2019.

He said he looked forward to "putting his kids to bed" after presenting the weekday evening chat show for so many years.
And, in 2021 he began presenting Channel 4's Matt Baker: Our Farm in the Dales.
The show follows Matt and wife Nicola Mooney, move with their kids to the organic sheep farm where he grew up in the Durham hills to help secure its future.
Nicola and Matt met while they were at school and have now been married for 15 years after exchanging vows back in 2004.
The couple have two children together, son Luke and daughter Molly, and live just outside London.
