DISGRACED Andrew Tate has backed PSG star Achraf Hakimi amid his divorce battle after he was charged with rape.

Spanish actress Hiba Abouk confirmed she had split from the Moroccan footballer last month.

French prosecutors placed the World Cup ace, 24, under judicial supervision on preliminary charges of rape in March amid an investigation.

He is accused of raping a woman after inviting her to his home while his wife was on holiday with their kids.

Hiba, 36, told her 1.7million Instagram followers last month that she and Hakimi, who have two kids together, had parted ways "long before" the rape charge.

She added she did not imagine in addition to facing the “usual pain that comes with a separation,” she would also have to confront “this shame” as well.

It is understood that after the rape allegation emerged she started to "accelerate" divorce proceedings.

But unconfirmed reports claim Hiba - who wed the footballer in 2020 - was told by the courts she would receive nothing from the split after demanding half of his assets.

Unsubstantiated rumours reported by local media outlets claim almost all of Hakimi's properties, cars, jewellery and clothes are registered in his mum's name.

It is also alleged Hakimi had instructed for 80 per cent of his £1million per month wage from PSG to be paid into his mother's account.

Self-described misogynist Andrew Tate replied to a report on the rumours to voice his controversial support of Hamiki.

He tweeted: "My G."

The term "G" is a slang term that stands for gangster, often used as a way to greet close friends.

Tate's distasteful tweet has been like more than 50,000 times, but some social media users noted how both are facing rape allegations - which they strongly deny.

French prosecutors are investigating Hamiki after a woman alleged he assaulted her in February after inviting her to his home while his wife was on holiday with their kids.

Tate, meanwhile,  is under house arrest in Romania while an investigation continues into allegations of human trafficking and rape.

He and his brother Tristan were detained on December 29 and spent three months behind bars.

They have now been ordered to stay in the buildings where they live - unless they have permission from the courts to leave.

Former kickboxer Tate built up an image that appealed to teenage boys - creating an online empire that made him one of the most searched people on Google.

Masquerading as lifestyle advice, much of the content is considered highly sexist and is seen as promoting violence against women.

His influence has had a worrying spread amongst young men and boys, with one UK MP saying he is "brainwashing" children.

Tate initially gained fame after a short-lived appearance on Big Brother.
