A man has been found dead inside a tent, with a sleeping bag tied around him and covered in bruises, as four people face murder charges.

Guy Levy was found in the multi-storey in Castle Street, Canterbury, having suffered fatal injuries on Easter Monday.

Police say the 51-year-old man was found face down as forensic teams descended on the area.

Four men have been charged with Mr Levy's murder. Three men were charged earlier, with the fourth appearing at Maidstone Crown Court this morning.

Sobantu Sibanda, 27, of Albert Street, Whitstable, was arrested in connection with Mr Levy's death just hours after his body was discovered.

The following day, Gavin Houghton, 49, and Airidas Sakalauskas, 21, both of Old Dover Road, Canterbury, were also taken into custody.

All three were later charged with murder.

On Thursday, a fourth man - Keith Hall, 50, of Athelstan Road, Thanington - was arrested and two days later charged with Mr Levy's murder.

Sibanda, Houghton and Sakalauskas appeared before Maidstone Crown Court yesterday, with Hall in the dock this morning.

Prosecutor Martin Yale said police discovered Mr Levy with a sleeping bag drawn tightly around him, he also had bruising to his head and torso.

All four are yet to enter a plea and have been remanded in to custody.

A four-week trial has been scheduled to be held at Canterbury Crown Court in October.
