Priscilla Presley paid an emotional tribute to Lisa Marie Presley after confirming her 54-year-old daughter had died.
The daughter of Priscilla, 77, and Elvis Presley suffered cardiac arrest on Thursday and was put into an induced coma as medics desperately tried to save her.
However, despite efforts of hospital staff, the only daughter of the legendary King of Rock n Roll died shortly after.
In a short statement, Priscilla said: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."

Telling her followers about her daughter's condition at the time, she wrote on Facebook : " My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care.
"Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time. -Priscilla Presley"
It came after paramedics were urgently called and performed CPR on Lisa Marie at her house in Calabasas before she was rushed to hospital.
According to TMZ, they were able to regain a pulse before transporting her to hospital, but their efforts sadly couldn't save her.
Following the news breaking on Thursday, the publication went on to report sources claiming someone "administered epinephrine at the scene at least one time in order to help Presley regain a pulse".
Over the years, Lisa Marie has suffered several health scares and once said she was "grateful" to be alive following her previous addiction to opioids.
The mum-of-four explained her drug abuse in her memoir, saying it started shortly after the birth of her twin daughters, Harper and Finley, in 2008.
She was also mum to actress Riley Keough. Her son Benjamin died by suicide aged 27 in July 2020.
