It came after members of the Ukrainian Parliament tried to disrupt a speech by Russian delegates at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).

Delegates held up their country's flag behind Russian Russian State Duma member Ola Timofeeva, Pravda reports.

Following the disruption, a break was announced and the delegation was told to leave the hall.

It comes after Russia claimed Ukraine had attempted to assassinate President Vladimir Putin in a drone attack on the Kremlin in Moscow - which Volodymyr Zelensky has denied.

Russia has since upped their own drone-strike action on Ukraine - with targets including Kyiv and Odesa hit.

Footage earlier this week showed a flying object exploding in flames above the fortress in central Moscow, where the president has his office and an apartment.

Putin, 70, was not inside at the time and was not injured, the Kremlin said, but the tyrant’s allies reacted to the attack with bloodthirsty calls for revenge.

In the Kherson area, 21 civilians dead with many killed in a supermarket and train station.

Russia continued its onslaught in the wake of the Kremlin drone attack with a barrage of missiles and kamikaze drones at Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities overnight.

Ukraine's Air Force said early that Russian forces attacked with Iranian-made drones.

And yesterday, the Kremlin accused the US of being the brainpower behind the alleged drone strike on Moscow which it said was carried out by Ukraine.

"Decisions on such attacks are not made in Kyiv, but in Washington," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Kyiv only does what it is told to do."

President Zelensky has denied the claims, however, and British security experts believe the attack was a "false flag" operation carried out by Russia to distract Ukraine from its counteroffensive and rack up generate support back home.

Experts from the Institute for the Study of War think-tank said: "Russia likely staged this attack in an attempt to bring the war home to a Russian domestic audience and set conditions for a wider societal mobilisation."
