YOUTUBE is still promoting Andrew Tate's business despite him facing human trafficking and rape charges.

Adverts for the disgraced influencer's programme, The Real World, were seen on the video-sharing platform this week.

Former world champion kickboxer Tate, 36, was arrested in Romania on December 29 as part of a probe into human trafficking, rape, and organised crime.

He and his brother Tristan - who deny all allegations made against them - are accused of luring women to their £600k villa on the outskirts of the Romanian capital Bucharest.

There, at least six women were allegedly forced to perform in sexually explicit videos which were then sold online.

Tate remains in custody, but The Sun has seen adverts promoting his company The Real World on YouTube as recently as Thursday.

The 30-second ad, which encourages users to visit a website and pay to sign up, appeared on a video with almost 360,000 views.

Tate mimics a character from the sci-fi hit The Matrix in a bid to entice customers.

His business encourages young fans to pay for a subscription with the promise they could become rich.

The programme also urges followers to earn commission by signing up new members.

Tate started up The Real World in October as a rebranded version of his programme Hustler's University, which closed in August.

Subscribers of Hustler's University were urged to share numerous videos of Tate on their social media to "maximise their engagement".

Before the police probe, Tate grew to prominence online through a series of videos sharing that were branded misogynistic.

He claimed women are a "man's property" and said he believed rape victims should "bear some responsibility" for their assaults in shocking videos shared thousands of times.

Schools across the UK have this week been trying to tackle his influence over youngsters as many schoolkids have repeated controversial ideas voiced by Tate.

But since his arrest, Tate's lawyer has argued his highly misogynistic online persona was just a "character".

Tate and his younger brother Tristan, 34, have been accused of leading a human trafficking ring.

The pair were arrested last month at their luxury compound in Romania along with two other women.

Earlier this week, a court in Romania rejected their appeal to be released from custody.

The duo were in court for six hours on Tuesday as they appealed the decision by prosecutors to keep them in prison until the end of January.

Controversial Tate initially gained fame after a short-lived appearance on Big Brother.

He was dumped from the reality show after alleged footage of him beating a woman emerged online.

Since then he has sparked revulsion and outrage with a wave of content online.

Washington DC-born Tate was accused of spreading hate towards women as he built his profile.

The influencer was banned from Twitter in 2017 for violating its terms of service with his controversial comments.

In August, Tate was banned from a range of other social media sites.

YouTube - owned by Google - was contacted for comment.
