FAST food is great when you don't want to cook, need to eat quickly, or just want to treat your family.

Meals from McDonald's, Burger King, KFC and other restaurants used to be extremely budget-friendly options, but like everything, prices have shot up thanks to inflation and the cost of living crisis.

Luckily, Beth Turbutt-Rogers has five fast food hacks up her sleeve to save you cash - from Mcdonald's to Nando's and even Subway.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, the money-saving mum from the Midlands revealed her favourite hacks to get money off your favourite fast food orders.

McDonald's

If you're anything like us then you're probably ordering the Chicken Big Mac while it's still on the menu.

But Beth reveals there's an easy way to bag it and even save yourself some money too.

Instead of ordering a Chicken Big Mac, or a regular one at that, for £4.49, you can ask for a Chicken Mayo or Cheese Burger which cost £1.49 and ask them to swap the sauces out for Big Mac sauce.

That's a saving of £3 off your favourite burger.

Nando's

We aren't here to judge you on the spice level you order at Nando's.

But if you find the wrap never quite fills you up, then Beth has a way to make your meal way more filling and save you money.

She recommends buying a kid's meal for just £5.95 and getting a chicken breast, chips and spicy rice in the order.

Add on a tortilla wrap for just £1 extra, and you've got the ingredients to make a Nado's burrito with a side of chips for just £6.95.

A regular wrap meal with two sides would usually set you back £12.75, plus, you also bag a free frozen yoghurt as well in the kid's meal.

You can also make your own butterfly chicken burger for way cheaper says the mum.

Order a side of garlic bread for £3.50 and a grilled chicken breast for £3.50 and you'll bag yourself a burger for £7 instead of £11.25.

Subway

If you're out with friends and want a quick and easy lunch, Subway is a top spot.

But there is a way to get it cheaper, so long as you both want the same meat.

Beth reveals that instead of ordering two 6-inch subs, get one foot-long sub and ask them to be cut before being thrown in the oven.

this way you can customise each half of the sandwich so you can have two varieties of salad fillings and sauces instead.

The Italian BMT costs £5.69 for 6-inches, or £11.38 for two, whereas you could get a footlong for just £8.49 and customise the toppings for each half to save yourself £2.89.

KFC

If you're a fan of the KFC twister wraps but hate spending £5.99 on it then listen up.

Beth revealed a way to get the Smokey BBQ one for for £2.21 cheaper than usual.

She explains that to do so, all you need to do is order the BBQ mini wrap for £1.99 and add a small mini chicken fillet for £1.79.

Undo the wrap and pop your extra fillet inside and you have yourself a Smokey BBQ Twister wrap for a fraction of the price.

Burger King

Burger King fans are usually obsessed with their sides, from Dorito chicken fries to chilli cheese bites.

But instead of ordering the chicken fries, chilli cheese bits, nuggets and onion rings which all come in a set of six separately for £14.96, you can save a tonne and get double the amount with a savvy swap.

The budgeting mum recommends buying the savers bucket, which comes with five of each of the sides for just £6.99.

And if you order two of them, you'll get almost double the amount than buying them all separately for £13.98 instead.
