A PRE-FLIGHT pint is a ritual for many Brits who have an early morning plane to catch.

And one of the most popular places to grab a beer is at a Wetherspoons - which most UK airports have.

Many of the airport Wetherspoons open as early as 3am or 4am so you can get in a morning pint before the first flight of the day.

However some stand out more than others - here are the top five airport Wetherspoons ranked according to Dealchecker.

 1. The Windmill, London Stansted

London Stansted's Wetherspoons was voted the "best airport bar" in 2015 and remains the highest ranked of them all in the UK.
