RYAN KENT is set to leave Rangers at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has made his intentions clear and looks to be on his way out of Ibrox as he enters the final weeks of his deal in Glasgow.

Several clubs are interested in landing the out of contract winger on a free in the summer with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley and Leeds all in the race to sign him.

But another EPL side has reportedly held talks with the 26-year-old and are looking to beat their rivals to his signature in the coming weeks.

According to TEAMtalk, Everton boss Sean Dyche has been keeping tabs on the player's progress and is keen to bring him to Goodison Park.

It's being claimed that the Toffees have already had discussions with the wideman and his agent but they face stiff competition from other English clubs.

The report suggests that he has held talks with newly-promoted rivals Burnley and Sheffield United as well as Bournemouth.

It's unclear what the winger's preference is, however, it's likely he will take some time to decide his next club.

But a move to Everton would see Kent - who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool - return to Merseyside for the Reds' fierce city rivals.

And he could face off against his former club in a derby clash next season.

Rangers signed Kent from Liverpool for £7million in 2019 after he impressed on loan for the Light Blues under Steven Gerrard in the 2018/19 campaign.

He has been a key player for the Ibrox club since his permanent switch but he has struggled to hit the same numbers this season.

Michael Beale has yet to confirm that the Englishman is leaving the club though after he revealed team-mate Alfredo Morelos will depart at the end of the season.
