BOOSIE Badazz has once again made headlines following a mystery arrest.

But who is the American rapper and what has he done? All will be revealed.

Who is Boosie Badazz?

Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr, better known by his stage name Boosie Badazz, is a 40-year-old American rapper. 

He began rapping in the 1990s as a member of the hip hop collective Concentration Camp, eventually pursuing a solo career in 2000.

In 2000 he released his debut album Youngest Of Da Camp.

The rapper ended up leaving the label the following year, and signed with Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment to release his second studio album, For My Thugz 2002.

He has been one of the most prominent figures of southern hip hop and has gone on to release seven solo studio albums.

In 2009, Boosie was sentenced to four years in prison on drug and gun charges.

The following year he was indicted on first-degree murder charges, and was sentenced to 10 years with multiple charges of drug possession.

He served five years in prison and was released in March 2014.

According to HipHopDX, one of Boosie Badazz's best tracks is is Zoom which features Young Joc.

Produced by Trill Entertainment, the debut single from Bad Azz worked well enough to gain some traction on both Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and Hot Rap charts.

For My Thugz was another popular hit featured on Boosie’s first solo outing on Trill Entertainment.

Described as Part turn-up, part club narrative, the track is considered a local Southern hiphop classic.

Why has Boosie Badazz been arrested?

Boosie Badazz was arrested by federal agents on Wednesday, June 14, according to WAFB.

The rapper was in court on Wednesday for a gun case that was later dismissed, said a spokesperson for the San Diego District Attorney's Office.

Boosie was reportedly involved in a traffic stop when officers allegedly discovered two handguns last month.

But Badazz was then arrested on another legal issue by agents inside the courtroom soon after the gun case had wrapped up, according to reports.

The circumstances leading up to the arrest are not currently known.

Is Boosie Badazz married and does he have any children?

Boosie Badazz has a giant brood of eight biological kids.

On Iviona's 16th birthday, Boosie reportedly gifted her with a Porsche Panamera, which has a reported worth of $100K.

When she turned 20, Iviona reportedly received multiple pairs of shoes and $100K in cash.

She performs under the stage name Poison Ivi after changing it from Iviona Badazz and goes by different names, including the Princess of the South.

He shares his eight children with six different women - but only four out of the six women have been identified.

He previously said that he did not believe marriage was a good choice for him, because he didn't want to potentially lose half of his fortune in the event of a divorce.
