Rochelle Humes has opened up about taking on a supermarket job when her band split up, labelling it "embarrassing".

The 34-year-old found fame when she was just 12-years-old as she was a part of S Club 7 spin-off band, S Club Juniors.

However, she said she didn't know what she was suppose to do when it came to an end.

The mum-of-three said she handed out leaflets in Tesco when she had to get a "normal" job when it looked like her fame was over.

In the band Rochelle was joined by Frankie Bridge, Aaron Renfree, Jay Asforis, Stacey Franks, Calvin Goldspink, Daisy Shelvey and Hannah Richings.

They went on to be successful with hits such as Automatic High while working together from 2001 to 2003.

However, she told the Grace Beverley podcast that when the band split she asked herself "What am I going to do now?"

She explained that child performers tend to have "gone on to live a weird life," before saying that she went on to hand out leaflets in Tesco, by way of earning some money.

Rochelle said she was "embarrassed" by the job as it "wasn't glamorous".

She said: "We were all earning good money. Like we could buy ourselves expensive things, and we all had nice cars, like we helped out our parents.

"But then it all ended - and so does the money."

However, Rochelle went on to find fame once again as she joined The Saturdays, alongside fellow S Club Juniors star Frankie Bridge.

She went on to marry fellow singer Marvin Humes, 38, who found fame as part of boyband JLS on the X Factor in 2009.

The couple have three children together, nine-year-old Alaia-Mai, Valentina, six, and two-year-old son Blake.

Rochelle has made a move into TV presenting after her music career, often filling in as a guest presenter on ITV's This Morning.

The couple are thought to be living a life of luxury together as they have an impressive joint net worth.

It's been reported that the pair are worth almost £10million, and their London home is thought to be worth £3.3million.
