DOG owners in a village are living in fear after a pet died from a snake bite suffered on a walk.
Labrador-collie cross Patch, six, was nipped by what was believed to be an adder while out with owner Alan Mormon.

The trucker, 58, said: “He was full of venom — they couldn’t help him.
“One day he was happily running around care-free. Now he’s gone.”
